The day after signing his National Letter of Intent, Marshall was featured in two area newspapers.

Besides the nice articles from the newspapers, Marshall was also talked about on rivals.com, which is the national recruiting website. Here's some comments from Offensive Coordinator, Coach Kevin Wilson:

Kevin Wilson on fullback Marshall Musil...

"He's a little taller and got a little more range than Matt Clapp where he could maybe do some things and be a little bit more of an athletic tight end every once in a while. I see him as a big running back, kind of an athletic fullback. He has the ability to play linebacker and I think Coach Venables is intrigued by that, but we've taken a big group of backers. I thought in camp he showed well enough to be comparable to those backers.

I don't think if we hadn't taken those numbers, I think Brent would have thought he needs to be a linebacker for us. I think it's nice that he's got the athleticism to do that. He's a little bit taller at 6-2, where I think he do some of that h-back tight end stuff. But I think he's a fullback that you can move around. He plays well in space, he's a basketball guy who can catch it, he's a track guy that can run and he's about 224 now so he's a few pounds away but not far off.

I think he's an intriguing guy that's got some potential. We'll see in time if he's a true blocking guy, can he catch, can he play in space? Is he just a fullback, can he play in space and we'll figure that out when he gets here but you think he has a chance to be multiple."

Coach Bob Stoops also held a press conference on Wednesday where he talked about each new player. He also said some very nice things about Mr. Marshall. It was awesome to hear The Bob Stoops talking about our Marshall!

This week couldn't have been any better. What a humbling, amazing, blessed experience Marshall is sharing with us!
